About C&F Green Energy

C&F Green Energy was created in Ireland in 2006 to design and build wind turbines. It sold turbines from 6 kw up to 100 kw around the world, including the U.K., Japan, Italy and Switzerland.

It sold well over 1,000 turbines, with the biggest market being the U.K. with around 800 installations, followed by Japan with roughly 400 turbines.

C&F Green Energy filed for bankruptcy in 2019.

A related company, C&F Tooling still makes some parts for the turbines, while TMSL, the successor of a server and spare parts supplier still sells parts for the machines and offers a remote monitoring service,

About Aomori Turbines

Aomori Turbines, founded in 2017, was created to purchase C&F wind turbines for the Japanese market. Our customers are local Japanese companies. Since Japan ended the small wind turbine feed-in-tariff in 2021 we have started selling turbines overseas..

We are based in Aomori, in the north of Japan, which offers one of the best locations for land-based wind turbines in Japan. We are alspart of a network of wind turbine maintenance companies that oversee around 400 C&F turbines in Japan.

We bought 100 C&F wind turbines from C&F Green Energy and have 30 turbines remaining available for purchase. We understand the importance of quality and reliability, which is why we have worked with other companies in Japan to produce Japanese made parts to improve performance.
